I absolutely love the song Bad kids by — Black Lips! I've loved it since the first time I saw 500 Days of Summer (it's a cracking playlist) when the opportunity to have my own studio came about,

I wanted to keep the branding clean and simple as I didn't necessarily want to box myself into just one thing or style. How ever, deciding on a colour pallet was the hardest, as I love colour so much! I thought I'd start with electric blue and pale pink.
The typeface I picked is a hand-drawn style, it's bold, straightforward and it's got imperfections.
(which I feel takes the pressure off everything needing to be perfect all the time)
