I absolutely love the song Bad kids by — Black Lips! I've loved it since the first time I saw 500 Days of Summer (it's a cracking playlist) when the opportunity to have my own studio came about, I knew what I was gonna call it!
I wanted to keep the branding clean and simple as I didn't necessarily want to box myself into just one thing or style. How ever, deciding on a colour pallet was the hardest, as I love colour so much! I thought I'd start with electric blue and pale pink.
The typeface I picked is a hand-drawn style, it's bold, straightforward and it's got imperfections. (which I feel takes the pressure off everything needing to be perfect all the time)

And it seems that the Daruma doll has accidentally become the mascot of the studio, they are grumpy guys who help you achieve goals in life, you still have to put in the hard work, but they help along the way. To me, this feels very fitting.
